The second version of our website is now live and contains more info about what we do and what we’ve been up to since we started in 2020. Our goal when we started was just to do street art tours, and we quickly grew to include delivering workshops and murals. Our focus on street art tours widened to include any art on the street, like outdoor sculptures, or places on the street that contained art, like art galleries and other art spaces, not necessarily related directly to street art. Our tours now include more options, which keeps things interesting for us and the participants on our tours. It’s also been great to learn more about other types of art and meet loads of different people outside of our street art bubble. Instead of just walking, we now also use bikes and, one day hopefully, drive vans so we can connect some of the different tours we have across the city.

We’ve also grown to include services delivering events and activities, which is kind of new, kind of not. We have lots of experience doing this as contractors for other people, so it’s naturally become something we now do at Street Artearoa. We also love putting art on clothes, and we’ve created a few different designs for tees, hats, and totes, which we wish we could do more of, so stay tuned.
So this is us for now, five years in. It’s still a part-time gig among all the other work we do, but it’s still lots of fun, and we wouldn’t do it if there weren’t an audience for it. Thanks to everyone who’s taken a tour or commissioned us for work. We couldn’t do it without you.
